The Ernakulam District KSSIA looks after the interests  of SSIs in the District, represents them collectively in State industrial bodies as part of the State Association and ensures interaction, inter–dependence and cooperation among its members. It strives to pass on information received from various sources and considered useful to SSIs and also conveys to them orders  and instructions received from Government and other agencies. It facilitates formation of cooperative ventures like industrial Clusters, Sub contract Exchange etc and prepares avenues for SSIs to air their grievances, express their opinions and so on.
